“Perched confidently somewhere between public fare and casual fine dining sits the menu at Slack’s Restaurant and Bar…creative scaled up appetizers such as the poutine with duck confit, brie and cranberry gravy, or quesedillas with grilled apple chicken and sweet potato jalapeno goat’s cheese will leave the casual pub crawlers craving for more.  Entrée selections such as the stuffed pork tenderloin, pistachio crusted chicken and seafood linguini will satisfy even the most disconcerting palate…”

Review of “The Pink in the Grey” by sfgam.com

I’ll be posting reviews of the songs and album as they come in here, whether they’re positive or negative.  I generally hope for either good/great or laceratingly terrible reviews, because they make for better entertainment value than a ‘this is mediocre and not notable’ type of review.

Anyway, sfgam.com’s Jason Chu has posted a really positive advance review of the album!  An excerpt:

Wong’s enunciation is crisp, and he possesses a pitch-perfect falsetto and a smooth-as-honey alto, a voice that never gets old. Wong’s production is sparing with harmony vocals and excessive grandeur, allowing just enough piano and instrumentation to accentuate his impressive range.
