First, I want to say a huge thank you to the Irie Music Fest/Caribana organizers, who were incredibly welcoming and gave me a great opportunity to showcase 5 tunes at Yonge/Dundas Square’s mainstage in Toronto. Vids of each of the five songs will be posted later this week.
Late last week, I got two amazing features from two leading and very influential LGBTQQIY+ entertainment/news/media resources!
THIS WAY OUT
“The Pink in the Grey” had two tracks, “Legion of the Broken” and “Falling Balloons”, featured on last week’s podcast along with smoky voiced Namoli Brennet and sexy crooner Daniel J. Cartier. Additionally, there’s a great discussion of the movie “The Kids Are All Right” starring Julianne Moore and Annette Bening, which I saw on Saturday and was incredibly touched by.

Additionally, “The Pink in the Grey” made its charting debut (ever) at #39 on the OutVoice June 2010 Top Forty Chart!
The OutVoice chart is run by Len Rogers and lists a set of various artists who have been influential in my life as well (Levi Kreisand Eric Himan, in particular). Namoli Brennet also happens to have entered the chart!
