| Other Info | Richard Barry Fudger Memorial Gallery, Art Gallery of Ontario Members $35 | Public $40 | Student $25 Renowned Toronto musical theatre company Acting Up Stage Company partners with the AGO to present a special commission of musical theatre pieces by three teams of Toronto playwrights, composers and lyricists in response to a selection of subjects from the AGO's permanent collection. Three 20-minute original musicals will take place in the Richard Barry Fudger Memorial Gallery, featuring the artwork that inspired the music, renowned Toronto actors, and live musicians. Visitors are immersed in the dynamic and resonant connections between art and music. directed by Robert McQueen music director Tara Litvack written and composed by Erin Shields & Bryce Kulak; Julie Tepperman & Kevin Wong; Sara Farb & Britta Johnson featuring Tim Funnell, Kaylee Harwood, Eliza-Jane Scott Acting Up Stage Company is Toronto's premiere not-for-profit musical theatre company dedicated to producing, developing and advancing musical theatre in Canada. Since 2004, the company's work has been awarded 45 Dora Mavor Moore Award nominations, 10 Toronto Theatre Critics’ Awards and 9 Dora Mavor Moore Awards. Its acclaimed NoteWorthy program brings together playwrights, composers and lyricists to develop original musicals, including those featured in Reframed.
